Eligibility & Applications
The UCLA Vascular Biology Training program is open to UCLA Ph.D. / MSTP students and post-doctoral fellows who are US citizens or permanent residents and whose goals are to perform research in vascular biology. The program requires a letter of nomination and a complete application package as indicated below.
For the upcoming cycle, the deadline for submission of applications is Friday, May 21st, 2021. Call for Application Flyer provides all the details for the process.
- Application packets must be complete at the time of submission, including letters of recommendation, as the Advisory Committee will begin reviewing applications immediately.
- Each applicant must be nominated by a UCLA faculty member.
- The applicant must be a US citizen or permanent resident to receive an award. Proof of status is required.
Application Checklist for Incoming Trainees
- Completed Application packet
- Letter of nomination from research mentor
- 2 Letters of Recommendation (in addition to the letter from the mentor)
